How long have you been at CommUNITY and what do you love most about our church?
I have been attending CommUNITY since the beginning of 2017 with my family. I fell in love with the "straight from the Bible" preaching we were experiencing. I was being challenged and my faith was growing attending CommUNITY. My family planted ourselves here and began serving along side many loving and genuine brothers and sister in Christ. They have become family and CommUNITY has become our home.
What is your role and ministry focus at CommUNITY Church?
Currently, I am serving as a deacon at CommUNITY, one of the leaders for women's Bible study, and the point person for Women's Ministries.
What is your favorite verse or passage in scripture and why?
My favorite Bible verse is...
"Although you’ve never seen him, you love him. Even though you don’t see him now, you trust him and so rejoice with a glorious joy that is too much for words." 1 Peter 1:8 CEB.
This sums up how my relationship is with Jesus Christ. I have not seen Him, but I love Him and trust Him. There is just a joy that comes from the knowledge of knowing, trusting, and believing in Jesus Christ. It is hard not to share that joy with others.
