FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Is this 25 hours of prayer only?

    • No.  Prayer will be part of the services, but we will be joining together with churches across the globe for worship, prayer, repentance, and seeing what God is doing.  Each country will have it’s own service that we get to participate in from our seats!

  • I only speak English.  How am I going to understand what they are saying during the Peru session?

    • Technology has provided a way for us to receive immediate translations into our local language, regardless of where we are located!  So while we are watching a service in Peru, we will be hearing a translation into English.  This is also true for others who don’t speak English!  The United States service being broadcast from Dallas, Texas will be translated into Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and about a hundred others!

  • When is this happening?

    • Begins Friday, February 28 at 8pm (Muncie, IN time) and continues until Saturday, March 1 at 9pm

  • Where exactly is CommUNITY Church?

    • CommUNITY is about 4 miles east of Interstate 69, just off State Road 28, on the north side of Muncie, IN.  We are easily accessible from all directions with our east/ west state highway proximity.  For local folks, between Wes-Del MS/HS and Delta HS.

  • 25 hours is a long time.  When do we eat?

    • CommUNITY Meals Ministry has it under control!  We will be providing three meals Saturday- breakfast, lunch and dinner- and snacks all the in between times.  We will also be broadcasting the services in our gym, so you don’t miss any of the services!

  • I have to work for part of Gather25.  Can I come late?

    • CommUNITY Church’s doors will be open to anyone who would like to join us in corporate worship- whether that is for an hour or the entire 25 hours.  Please make yourself comfortable and come when you are able.

  • I can’t make it to CommUNITY that weekend.  Can I still watch?

    • Yes.  CommUNITY is hosting the broadcast for believers to gather together for this inaugural event.  But you can watch from wherever you are- your living room, a hotel room, your dorm room, the student center, a restaurant, your grandparent’s lodge in Maine.  The possibilities are endless of where you can gather!
